1. Acceptance of Terms

2. User Accounts and Registration

You must provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
You must be a legitimate resident or official of Barangay 468 to register.
Registration for Barangay Officials requires verification and approval by the system administrator.
You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.

3. User Responsibilities

Use the system only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these terms.
Not attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the system.
Not upload, post, or transmit any malicious code, viruses, or harmful content.
Respect the privacy and rights of other users.
Provide truthful and accurate information when submitting requests or documents.

4. Data Privacy and Protection

We are committed to protecting your personal information in accordance with the Data Privacy Act of 2012 (Republic Act No. 10173). Your data will be:

Collected and processed only for legitimate barangay administrative purposes.
Stored securely and protected against unauthorized access.
Not shared with third parties without your consent, except as required by law.
Retained only for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes outlined.

5. Acceptable Use Policy

You agree not to:

Interfere with or disrupt the system's functionality.

6. Official User Accounts

For Barangay Officials:

Your account will remain inactive until verified by the system administrator.
You must use your official position responsibly and ethically.
You have additional responsibilities regarding the handling of resident data and requests.
Misuse of administrative privileges may result in immediate account suspension.

7. Service Availability

While we strive to provide continuous service, we do not guarantee that the system will be available at all times. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any aspect of the service with or without notice.

8. Limitation of Liability

Barangay 468 and its officials shall not be held liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use or inability to use this system, including but not limited to loss of data or service interruptions.

9. Intellectual Property

All content, features, and functionality of this system are owned by Barangay 468 and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without express permission.

10. Termination

We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your account at any time, without prior notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms and Conditions or is harmful to other users, us, or third parties, or for any other reason.

11. Amendments

We reserve the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting. Your continued use of the system after any changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of the Philippines. Any disputes arising from these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the Philippines.
